Breaking Bread The Podshow

I started a Podshow! Well, we did – my boyfriend and I – started a podcast.

Why we started a Podshow

a manifesto

We believe:

Cooking is an act of creation.

Cooking is important.

Cooking leads to sharing food.

Sharing food leads to strong relationships: friends and family!

Sharing food together brings the best conversations out.

Cooking is a birthright.

Developing cooking skills should be accessible and fun.

Cooking is a creative act; you are making something — creativity is what makes us humans, not mere apes. Not only is it cheaper than eating out, but cooking is healthier for you. Your own kitchen is the best kitchen. Trust in yourself.

Commercial kitchens are meant to create 5x food.

Industrial “food” production is meant to create 100x food.

What does this do?

It increases profit margins and increases health care costs.

When you cook for yourself, you opt out.

In reward, you gain control of your own health and ( in a way ) your own destiny.

Ultimately, everyone should eat as they wish.

However, we are openly against industrially produced food products, read as packaged food. Food is what can be grown, raised, or hunted. The risk and uncertainty associated with industrially produced food products is manifesting in the form of chronic illness epidemic.

  1. Your blog is brilliant– one of the best I’ve seen! But this seems to be the only place to comment. Is it missing from your blog template?

    1. Hey Andrea! Thank you so much for your kind words. I was not aware that the comments section was missing from a few of my blog posts. I will look into it and see how I can make them reappear again. 🙂
